The mission of the Victory Christian Center is to elevate our community through Christ-driven education, recreation, and assembly. We are looking for a part-time event coordinator to oversee special events at our facility. The person who fills this role needs to have a friendly and pleasant disposition, a firm commitment to our organization’s mission, and strong organizational and communication skills. In addition to these qualities, the ideal candidate will have a passion for the job and the ability to solve problems quickly.

Hours: This job will require approximately 15 hours per week. Much of the work can be done remotely, but on-site work will be required for meetings with clients, checking in on events, overseeing the setting and resetting of rental spaces, etc.
Pay: Part-time salaried, $1200/month
Duties:

First point of contact for potential clients of short-term rentals

Monitor email inbox and phone line for rental requests

Schedule and give tours to potential clients

Book and schedule all details of events (add to calendar, process rental agreements, process invoices, etc.)

Coordinate details with all subcontractors (decorators, cleaning crew, etc.)

Manage all event operations (preparing venue, resetting venue, etc.)

Do final checks before event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure quality

Oversee event and act quickly to resolve problems

Evaluate event’s success and submit reports

Follow up with clients after events to ensure satisfaction

Monthly in-person meetings with Director and other VCC employees

Assist Director with creation and implementation of special VCC events

Other duties as assigned by the Director
