Welcome to the 3rd Annual Apple Capital Paddle Battle presented by Piedmont Physicians! All proceeds will benefit Victory Christian Center youth sports and Fostering Roots, a Gilmer County ministry/support for foster children and families. On this page you will find most of the information you'll need for our pickleball tournament. Volunteers and tournament directors will be able to answer questions during the event. Logistics

Our address is 208 Victory Circle, Ellijay, GA 30540. Use the one-way route around the building until you see the sandwich board sign. There is ample free parking available on site. Water dispensers are located near the restrooms in the gym. A player hospitality room is available behind court 1A (R111). Concessions will be available for sale between 11am-2pm each day at the concession stand in the lobby.

Tournament Procedures

Please check-in at least 30 minutes before your group's scheduled start time. If both players are not in their positions on the court within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time for their group, the team will forfeit the first round (score 0-11 or 0-15, depending on the rules for each group). We will be using the Onix Fuse Indoor Orange Pickleball. Winners will be determined by the total number of wins in the group. If two teams have the same number of wins, winners will be determined by the outcome of their head-to-head games. In the event of a three-way tie, winners will be determined by point differential. Court monitors will record scores for each game, but they will not be referees. Teams must resolve disputes among themselves. Every team must confirm the final score of each game with the court monitor before beginning the next round. Medals will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams in each division.
