We are excited to launch Victory Performing Arts, a new program for families seeking Christ-centered opportunities in drama and music.
Our purpose extends beyond putting on a great performance. We want to help each student grow as both an artist and the person God has called them to be. We are unapologetic followers of Jesus Christ, and we believe the performing arts should honor our Creator. That conviction shapes every part of this program—from instruction and rehearsals to the final production.
Victory Performing Arts is open to students in 2nd through 12th grade. No previous performing arts experience is required.
How the Program Works
The season begins with a required two-session introductory course. During these sessions, students will learn foundational performing arts concepts that will prepare them for auditions and rehearsals.
After completing the introductory course, every student will audition for a role in our production of The Silent Knight. Auditions will help our directors determine the role that best fits each participant.
Rehearsals begin September 29 and conclude with a special dinner theater performance of The Silent Knight on December 6.

Frequently Asked Questions
When are the introductory sessions, auditions, and rehearsals?
The parent meeting and introductory course begin on September 8. A second introductory session will be held on September 15. Both sessions are scheduled from 3:45–5:15 p.m.
Auditions will take place on September 21 and 22. Students will be assigned to one of the two audition dates.
Rehearsals begin September 29. Students will rehearse once per week through October. Beginning November 2, rehearsals will be held twice per week on Mondays and Tuesdays.
During the week of the performance, rehearsals will be held on November 30, December 1, and December 4. Every participant must attend all three production-week rehearsals. Please see the complete calendar below for specific dates.
What does my child need in order to participate?
Students do not need previous acting, singing, or performing experience. They simply need:

Can my child miss rehearsals and still participate?
Consistent attendance is essential because every student plays an important role in the production. Before production week, students may miss no more than two rehearsals. During production week, attendance at all three rehearsals is mandatory.
Please carefully consider any other extracurricular commitments your child may have during the season, including team sports. An absence affects more than one participant—it can impact scenes, music, choreography, and the entire production team. Families should be prepared to make Victory Performing Arts a priority throughout the season.
How much does the program cost?
A $50 registration fee reserves your child’s place in the program and includes:

A guaranteed role in the production
After roles are announced, each participant will receive an invoice for a $250 production fee. Payment of that invoice confirms acceptance of the assigned role.
Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available. A student who secures a Bronze Sponsorship or higher will have the $250 production fee waived. Sponsorship information will be given to parents at the parent meeting on September 8.
